Maximum gear ratio range, minimum effort. The SRAM PG-1231 cassette offers the ratio range of a 2-speed drivetrain in a package for 1×12-speed shifting systems. The progressive gradation of the sprockets ensures that the gear jumps are as small as possible at high speeds and become larger the steeper the climb. To ensure full integratability, the XPLR cassette is suitable for conventional 11-speed freewheel bodies.
Features of the SRAM XPLR PG-1231 cassette
- 400 % bandwidth for optimum ratio coverage in 1-speed drivetrain systems
- nickel-chrome coating for high corrosion protection and good wear resistance
- compatible with Flattop® chains and 11-speed road freewheels (HG-EV)
The reliable, durable and high-performance PowerGlide II cassette technology was developed specifically for riding off paved roads. The optimized tooth profile and strategically placed climbing aids allow precise and smooth gear changes, making it easy to climb any mountain.
