Gravel is the great equalizer. No matter who you are, where you come from or where you want to go. Gravel celebrates individuality. It welds together in a shared passion. It lays the foundation for friendships and creates memories for the ages. Whether you ride one kilometer or a hundred. Whether with professional equipment or without. With a 10-speed, 11-speed or 12-speed gear system. Whether on paved roads, forest roads, back roads – or no roads at all. It does not matter why you are out there, all that matters is that you are.
Shimano GRX shift/brake set consisting of the ST-RX610 Dual Control lever for confident handling and the BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brake caliper for consistent braking performance. For a smooth and at the same time easy maintenance provide the proven Bleeding system and the , which greatly facilitates the brake line replacement.
Shimano GRX ST-RX610 brake/shift lever
Gravel for Everyone. The GRX ST-RX610 STI lever stands for unsurpassed comfort and a light, responsive shifting behavior in mixed terrain. Whether touring or racing, the textured grip shape combined with the non-slip surface of the brake lever noticeably increases control on uneven terrain. Adjustable in reach and free stroke.
Shimano GRX BR-RX400 disc brake caliper
Attack the toughest terrain without hesitation with the GRX BR-RX400 hydraulic caliper. Its 2-piston design not only provides more control on rough terrain, but also offers stable braking performance in all conditions. The disc brake caliper is attached directly to the frame or fork via Flat Mount system.
The Shimano DCL levers combine braking and shifting functions in one control unit for easy as well as comfortable operation. In raising the standard of performance, their innovative ergonomics are even more important to consider than adding additional gearing. However, the highlight of the STI shifters (Shimano Total Integration) shifters, is the ability to change gears front and rear with just one finger. The Dual Control levers owe this not only to an extremely precise and smooth operation, but also to the same stability for which Shimano’s MTB technologies are already known.
For brake systems with J-Kit brake hose connection, the brake lever has an integrated squeeze seal (olive), which makes the installation and removal of the brake line much easier overall.
In order to keep the braking power at longer continuous operation consistently high, Shimano has developed the Ice-Tech cooling technology for brake discs and brake pads. Brake pads with Ice Technologies feature cooling fins made of aluminum, which better dissipate heat. In conjunction with the optimized radiation properties of the rotor, this results in a longer durability of the pads, while brake noise and fading are minimized.
