The latest generation of the Santa Cruz Heckler has a replaceable battery with higher capacity. This expands the possibilities and makes more and more remote trails accessible. Santa Cruz has made the carbon layup and frame design particularly robust to absorb the high forces cleanly and guarantee long-lasting riding fun. At the same time, the bike is still competitively light. And sensibly and uncompromisingly well equipped. The geometry was refined in countless test rides more and more and – uphill and downhill – optimized for driving fun. The legendary VPP rear triangle is tuned for e-bike use.

Replaceable battery

The battery is quickly removed and replaced. So it can be conveniently charged without the bike or replaced by a second battery on particularly long tours.

Carbon C frame

The C frames achieve the same stability and stiffness as the CC carbon frames. They just trade a little more weight for a slightly lower price. Both versions are made in Santa Cruz’s own factory and come with a lifetime warranty.

Shimano EP8 Motor

The Shimano EP8 motor is easily powerful and efficient. It is the right choice even for long and heavy tours.

Suspension and water

Large volume shocks fit in the frame and always a water bottle.

Beautiful details

Details that round out the bike are the small protective shield for the shock, the clean and simple cable routing and a rubberized downtube guard.

Geometry

This version has a longer reach and flatter steering angle than its predecessors. Amkurzen rear end merge uphill traction and downhill performance.
