The Winter Grid Skin bib tights offer the exceptional warmth of theAdventure Bib Tights with the added benefit of integrated SKINGRID protection on the hips and thigh of the cycling tights.
Winter cycling can be very rewarding. But it also poses additional hazards like icy roads and slippery mud that increase the risk of a fall. The Q36.5 Women’s Winter Grid Skin Bib Tights combine innovative 4D printing technology, which integrates a protective skin into the recycled microfleece fabric, with a durable water repellent treatment to create the ultimate protective bib tights for winter riding, protecting your skin if you suffer an unexpected fall.
Features of the Q36.5 Grid Skin winter bib shorts women
- Newly developed 4D printing technology GRDXKN® allows a protective structure to be printed into the fabric of the material. This printing technology transforms conventional fabrics into smart textiles. The material properties of the GRDXKN matrix have been successfully tested in crash simulations up to 100 km/h. The fine textiles used are reinforced and padded while remaining particularly lightweight and flexible. Garments equipped with GRDXKN® are also practical off the bike: they can be washed normally. The Women’s Winter Grid Skin Bib Tights are another example of Q36.5’s continued focus on a more environmentally sustainable approach, as they are made from recycled material. We use 100% recycled microfleece material with a durable water repellent treatment to provide a high level of insulation and environmental friendliness.
- The Women’s Winter Grid Skin Bib Tights also feature the updated Pre-Shape cut, used to provide the most ergonomic fit that not only improves performance, but also comfort. Thanks to detailed research in the field of body mapping and reducing the number of seams, the panels have been placed to support the muscles while pedaling.
- The Fusion Lady Chamois is designed specifically for the female body shape and incorporates both stitched and thermoformed padding technologies. The 120 kg/m³ dense, open-cell foam is cut and sewn in the front area where the most flexibility and breathability is required, while “smooth” thermoformed padding is used in the rear area where less flexibility but more support and cushioning is needed. This seat pad provides versatile support for training, competition and endurance-oriented rides.
