With the Mitro UE-l, KED responds to the increased safety requirements of e-bikers. The helmet therefore also complies with the NTA standard for pedelecs and speed pedelecs. In addition to the pleasant minimalist design, the helmet convinces above all with its inner values: As with the Pector, the systems of Boa and Mips have been connected. Another highlight is the integration of a battery-powered LED module with bright 180 ° visibility and battery-free USB charging option. The ventilation was developed according to the requirements of everyday commuters.

BOA® SYSTEM

The Boa® system has been seamlessly integrated into our 360° head ring for maximum comfort. With ingeniously simple one-handed operation, fine adjustments can be made even while riding. The Boa® System guarantees a secure and perfect fit in all situations.

FIDLOCK®

Fidlock® technology makes closing the harness buckle even easier. Thanks to the combination of magnetic force and mechanical latching, the Fidlock® buckle closes virtually automatically and can be operated with just one hand. Unintentional pinching of the skin is ruled out. At the same time, the closures are highly reliable, robust and secure.

MIPS – Brain Protection System(BPS)

The EPS inner shell of the KED helmets provides maximum impact absorption in the event of a fall. The MIPS system provides an additional safety feature by reducing the rotational forces acting on the brain. The low-friction shell of the MIPS system allows a sliding of 10-15 mm in all directions at an oblique impact angle.
