It can prevent the front wheel from locking and thus help to avoid slipping. So you stay safer in the saddle even under spontaneous, heavy braking – whether you’re riding on firm asphalt or slippery gravel paths.

Front wheel ABS: The speed of the wheels is monitored by wheel speed sensors. If the front wheel threatens to lock when braking too hard, the Bosch eBike ABS regulates the brake pressure and improves the driving stability and steerability of the eBike – this is particularly noticeable on slippery surfaces. The tuned and sensitively regulated braking behavior brings significantly more control and stability.

Rear wheel lift-off control: In case of extremely strong overbraking of the front wheel, the intelligent rear wheel lift-off control of the Bosch eBike ABS reduces the risk of your rear wheel unintentionally lifting off.
