Due to the completely newly developed curved rim profile (63x27mm) with “shark skin” surface, maximum power gain could be achieved with simultaneous stabilising steering behaviour under the influence of cross winds!
The innovative carbon-aluminium composite construction consists of a double-walled hollow body construction with an aramid honeycomb structure. Patented CITEC Concave system with overturned aluminium brake flanks for unbeatable braking performance.
All play between hub and spoke is eliminated through the use of straight spokes threaded directly into a special sleeve in the hub. Even under permanent load CITEC wheels will resist spoke breakage, while constant re-tensioning and re-truing become unnecessary. Furthermore it increases the true running stability.
