Beast Components has developed the pressure-absorbing IR protective layer so that different tolerances and unfavorable mechanisms do not lead to compatibility problems when fixing handlebars, stems or seatposts. The extremely fracture-resistant layer made of thermoplastic high-tech fibers withstands higher punctual loads and strengthens the clamping areas accordingly to decisively improve the durability and user-friendliness of safety-relevant carbon components.

The Beast Carbon components are created completely in-house at Black East GmbH in Dresden – here wheels are loved and lightweight construction is lived. The fairly young company is a spin-off of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre of the Technical University of Dresden. Here, scientific standards are the top priority when working with carbon as a material. With the help of the latest techniques from the automotive industry, aerospace and innovative manufacturing processes, the company aims to significantly improve the quality and suitability for everyday use of racing bikes and mountain bikes.
